Before I get into how it affected me let’s do a quick recap of what is happening right now.

I also prefer to keep it very simple.

Greece owes a lot of money and they cannot pay it. This means they have to cut a lot of public services and since a VERY LARGE portion of their population is on Government payrolls many are not happy about it. So they all decided to go burn things in the street and all hell is breaking loose. This makes investors really really nervous and they pull their money away from the trouble or take it out of the market entirely which causes share prices to fall.

It is not just Greece but Spain, Portugal, France and even the U.K. have a lot of debt and this makes investors even MORE nervous so they pull away even more money from the markets.

The only solid one of the bunch is GERMANY but I don’t think Germans like the idea of having to pay taxes only to give it to the Greeks. Wouldn’t you be mad if you had to work very hard and endure hot/cold weather only to give it to those people down south who don’t have to work very hard and get to go swimming in the Mediterranean Sea every week?

So Angela Merkel was justly concerned about providing HUGE amounts of Euros because her population would be pretty angry.

In the news today it was reported that President Barack Obama gave her a call to try and convince her to do the loan because the USA is also struggling to get back on its feet and if Greece has issues then it will affect America as well.

I always wondered how a conversation like that would go.

Obama: Hi Angela, how are you today?
Merkel: I’m fine Barack, how are you doing? Are they still drawing Hitler mustaches on you over there?
Obama: No, we won that one so now they are just putting a sombrero on my head and saying I might have been born in Mexico so…………
Merkel: Das macht nichts, those people are silly, don’t worry about it.
Obama: Thanks Angela, say was hoping there was something you can help me with.
Merkel: Natürlich
Obama: Could you please lend Greece 5,000,000,000 Euros? I would really appreciate it.
Merkel: Wie bitte?
Obama: Yes, 5,000,000,000 Euros to Greece please.
Merkel: Ok, sure Barack, I’ll see what I can do. Sonst noch etwas?
Obama: Nope, that’s all. Thanks Angela
Merkel: Bitte schön Barack. Bis später.
Obama: Bye-bye Angela.

So it appears a bailout package has been arranged for Greece. The bummer is that the bailout is borrowed money so Europe is financing debt with more debt. This is not good as many other members of the EU are also in debt trouble.

How it has affected me follows.

In American savings plans it is usual that a decent portion will be in the stock market whether it is through your employer, retirement savings plan or you buy stocks on your own. I have some money in each of these but what really concerns me is doing it on my own. The first time I bought stocks, the market crashed and we had the financial crisis. I held on and got out with a small profit but only a few hundred dollars and it really made me nervous about future investing.

I’ve been following the stocks since then, recently pulled out all my money and am waiting to invest my meager earnings again. Yet, last Friday the Dow Jones Industrial lost 1000 points which is the largest single day drop EVER! (If you don’t know what the DJI is, basically if it goes down by a lot then almost every other stock goes down as well). So here I am with my few dollars waiting to put it in the stock market and this happens!

This is starting to make me feel inadequate as I’m almost too scared to pull the trigger and by more stocks because who knows what is going to happen. If we take a step back isn’t this INCREDIBLE?

Here I am sitting at my desk trying to be a good investor but am getting a complex because I’m very scared to do so and it all depends on a country that is HALF A WORLD AWAY!!

I think that instead of trying to invest, I will go to Greece, get a government job and sit on the beach. If the government won’t pay me then I’ll go burn some things in the street until those Germans decide to pay my government so they can pay me and I can stop burning things and go for a wonderful swim in the Mediterranean. LMAO!!!!

Just read an article in the New York times entitled “Guest-Teaching Chinese, and Learning America.”

The article piqued my interest in that I’m all for building bridges between cultures and this program is a wonderful way to help American students learn the language of a country that will be (and is already) very important on the world stage.  The article on the overall was very good but there was one statement that I take great issue with.

This is what separates those who have lived abroad (or really try hard to understand other cultures) vs. those with a closed mentality and believe everyone and everything should be more like America.  Here is the statement:

——————————

“Barry Beauchamp, the Lawton superintendent, said he was thrilled to have Ms. Zheng and two other Chinese instructors working in the district. But he said he believed that the guest teachers were learning the most from the cultural exchange.

“Part of them coming here is us indoctrinating them about our great country and our freedoms,” he said. “We’ve seen them go to church and to family reunions, country music concerts, rodeos. So it’s been interesting to see them soak up our culture.””

—————————————–

On one hand, we could take that statement as though it is simply a good thing that the Chinese teachers are over here and taking a bit of the culture.  They can go to rodeos, perhaps eat a cheeseburger and heck even drive a Humvee if it behooved them to do so.  This is a good thing and a positive experience for everyone.

Yet, I detect the sense that what Mr. Beauchamp means is that America is better and we are doing the teacher a service by “indoctrinating” her on why America is better.  Taken further, I believe the implications are that it is beneficial to American students to learn the language while leaving all other aspects of Chinese culture at the door.

As any serious language learner knows one must really internalize every aspect of the foreign culture if they really want to succeed.  Language is not just a compilation of nouns verbs and grammar structures so that we can communicate but is something so much richer and fuller which is a direct reflection of how the foreign person thinks.  This thought process is formulated through their culture and therefore only taking the language would be akin to purchasing a motor with no car.  The motor is important but without the car which encases it one cannot get anywhere.

If we look at the word “indoctrination” we get a sense that it is teaching someone a set of principals and ideas and getting them to abide by them on their own.  One definition is; ” indoctrinate – to teach with a biased or one-sided ideology.”

When Mr. Beauchamp says “indoctrinating them about our great country and our freedoms” it is very easy to see that the thinks very little of China as a whole and that it is his duty to “correct” the teacher from her own culture!  Further, he mentions “going to church” and as we all know China is principally a Buddhist country and thus the teacher is most likely Buddhist as well.  Therefore, he is not only would like to indoctrinate her politically (freedoms) but religiously as well and perhaps even convert her to Christianity!

This is a disservice to the students in that learning a language is only a small piece of the culture at large.  If we are truly to understand each other and create a better world then learning a language just for its functional usage is a waste of time if one cannot understand the mindset of the culture as a whole.  People talk about having an open mind but it would appear that they only want to put a toe in the water. For them, having an “open mind” is O.K. so long as what the students have been taught politically and religiously from their American upbringing do not change.

It seems to me that Mr. Beauchamp believes the best possible scenario would be to have the students learn Chinese, go over to China and for them to teach everyone to become as American as possible!!!  It is quite obvious Mr. Beauchamp has not lived for any amount of time abroad cause he just doesn’t get it.

CONSPIRACY!

I am not a conspiracy theorist.

Yet, I do very much enjoy the websites and Youtube videos of conspiracy theorists for entertainment.  Given the fact that the DaVinci Code was so popular it appears that many others share this fascination with me.  On the other hand, when we mention conspiracy theories in public most reactions would be as though the theory is crazy.

However, there is so much history and often a shred of truth in many theories that keep the debates going and the people wondering.  To get a sense of what I’m talking about one simply has to do a search on Youtube for these:  World Government, Secret Government, The Illuminati and so on.  Here is one example. (video is long so keep the music playing while reading the rest of this post — it makes it more intense)  :)

Having read/watched plenty of them I really cannot pass up the opportunity to draw a few parallels between relatively recent events and these theories.  So please take all this with a HUGE grain of salt, as I’m just having fun……. or am I?  >:)

Before I get into the most exciting points of this blog let me explain my favorite conspiracy theory.

World Government

-  The puppet masters are at work.  These are the super elites who really pull the strings.  They have control of many nations but most importantly the most powerful nation on Earth (USA) and create the illusion of democracy/free society through the Republicans and Democrats both of which they control.  These include:

a.)  The Illuminati (1000 points of light anyone?)
b.)  The Masons   (Check the symbolism on your dollar bill)
c.) The Knights Templar
d.) The Bilderberg Group (Meeting of the most powerful people in the world)
e.)  The Council on Foreign Relations
f.)  Rosicrucians

and finally one that is just a few blocks from my apartment.

e.) The Bohemian Club

The Bohemian Club

From what I can gather, the main aim of these various groups is to form a world government.  I don’t know their main reasons for wanting a world government but the optimist in me believes that with a world government war would end.  War is basically brought about when conflicts arise between differing tribes.  The tribes became nations and then it was the war between nations.  Now we have economic blocs like the European Union and NAFTA.  The next step would be would these blocs allow people to travel freely and more governmental control.  At the end of all these alliances, treaties and blocs perhaps we would get to world government and then there would be no one to fight against unless aliens presented themselves (and were hostile… or hated our freedoms).

Further, the Earth is not growing any larger but humanity is.  If left unchecked then it is inevitable demand will outstrip supply and massive war will ensue.  Again, the optimist in me believes the world government does not want this to come about.  Yet, if there is no ultimate oversight what is to stop this from happening?  Economics?  Religion?  Politics?

If we look at history we are marching toward this aim.  The many nations of Europe have become the European Union.  The USA is a collection of states and differing tribes.  The USA is also at war in the Middle East which is a collection of tribes that have stubbornly refused to relinquish the tribal mentality and evolve into a larger entity such as an economic zone.  The integration of the Middle East needs some help and perhaps the elites have become tired of waiting and are just trying to speed up the process?

Some conspiracy theorists believe it is a war between Islam and Christianity.  I would think that the Christian countries have already become larger nations on their own accord.  Yet, it took World Wars One and Two to get the  Europe and the Middle East to combine into larger countries yet the process has stalled.  Therefore, a new war was in order to keep things going.

If we look at other nations outside the West and Middle East they have steadily become larger.  Every nation is a collection of tribes but apart from the West, the ones that stand out are: India, China and Russia.  Again, these nations are growing larger.

So what is the next step?  A combination of two nations and ultimately a world government?  Yet, to do so there must be a shock of some sort to get things moving.  World Wars 1and 2 were shocks that really shook up the global national maps.  The Cold War looked to do it again but fizzled out and so another shock was needed.  A big shock took place this decade (will remain unnamed) which really got the conspiracy theorists buzzing and lead to the war in the Middle East.  But without dwelling on that too much lets get to recent events which are the main topic of this post.

1.  The housing bubble and Lehman Brothers collapse

-  This leads to 10% unemployment in the USA and it just so happens that the Democrats win power.  This leads to national healthcare since many of the citizens are going to need it!  This is a major policy overhaul of which the likes have not been seen since The New Deal.  The economy almost completely collapses and if this had not happened it might have been difficult for the Federal Government to expand its powers as much as it did.  People needed the help (Economic and Healthcare) and although there were some hiccups legislation was passed.  The government takes over a major portion of the American GDP and thus gains greater control.

This would have been very difficult to accomplish in good economic times so we have to ask ourselves, what is just a coincidence that the timing seemed perfect?

2. War in the Middle East

Reneging on campaign promises Barack Obama escalates the war in Afghanistan.  They tell us that this is a war against terrorism but what does that really mean?  Why do terrorists want to attack the USA in the first place?  Bush said it was because “terrorists hate our freedoms.”  This doesn’t fly, there are other reasons that terrorists may want to attack such as considering the USA “imperialist” but what if the USA simply withdrew and became non-interventionist as it used to be?  Perhaps I do not understand geo-politics well enough and perhaps it is simply a case of the need to continually grow and control?

Either way, we have a politician that promised one thing to win the election then promptly changed his mine (I still love Barack mind you so this is not against him).  Perhaps he was persuaded by the intelligence that is only available to a sitting president or perhaps he was initiated into the club?

Even if we choose not to believe in wild conspiracy theories there is still plenty of information that is “secret” but given the term “classified,” so as not to have any conspiracy affiliation.

So what is the true aim of the war in the Middle East?  What does the USA want to gain that is not being debated in public?  Terrorists could be one part of the answer but there must be other larger goals here.  More military bases?  Influence of Israel?  Securing oil supplies?  Or, perhaps all of these are just moves on the chess board towards world government?

3.  Greece is about to default just as financial regulation in the USA is being looked at.  This causes a 1000 point drop in the stock market

Again, a shock is needed to get things moving so Greece is the perfect excuse.  The markets still do not understand how the biggest drop since 1987 happened (according to MarketWatch).  But wait, the brightest minds in finance can’t figure out why it happened??  So, as of today we are still waiting for the answers.

Again, according to the conspiracy theorist, this is just another play by the puppet masters to help the US Administration regulate finance which is the biggest step towards world government.  With different trading houses doing as they will it is hard to keep moving towards the goal, so they manipulate the world financial system to make Greece fail (or a number of others that could possibly such as Spain, Portugal or a plethora of East European nations).  One of the nations has to fail but it must be timed when the US administration is considering financial regulation which gives it a time frame of at least four years.

Again, finance is the most important key in this chain of events towards World Government so is this just coincidence or is it on purpose to smooth the way for greater financial regulation?

4.  The Environment

-  With the reason of the blast still unknown, the BP oil rig is now spilling millions of gallons of oil in the most beautiful ocean asset that the USA has.  The cause of the blast has yet to be determined but the interesting thing is that this has happened during the Democratic administration which is pushing for greater environmental controls.  I tend to believe that the Super Elites care for the environment and understand that over time the world will be overpopulated and eventually pollute too much for the Earth to sustain.  Therefore, any number of environmental disasters are bound to take place and if we look closely there have also been many mining “accidents” lately.  These mines dig up the coal which further pollutes the environment and thus just like in finance there are multiple catastrophes taking place and one of them (or a combination) have to stick in terms of shaking things up.

Now the US administration has the mandate to further extend its powers over environmental policy.  (Cap and Trade anyone?)

All of these recent events were designed to gain greater control of the most powerful player on the world stage which is the USA.  China, its closest competitor already has their population under lock and key (well trying to anyway) so they are on-board.  Japan is homogeneous so they won’t be a problem in terms of telling their population what to do.  Russia is under the control of Putin so that country is ready.  The only wild cards it seems are Iran and North Korea both of which the USA is pressuring to get their act in order.  Iran, by gaining WMD would cause panic in the Middle East, cause everyone to stockpile weapons and look at each other suspiciously.  Therefore, it would be a huge step backwards in terms of world government.  North Korea is not under any control by any Super Elite (don’t think Kim-Jong Il is in the club) but they should fall of their own accord although they are proving surprisingly resilient.

So, the pieces on the chess board are lining up and the puppet masters pieces are beginning to fall into place.  It is proving challenging to keep everything together but in the next few decades when the current changes have become cemented it will be time for even larger shocks which fuses a few nations together?

In conclusion when most people hear “World Government” they either brush it off as crazy talk or go ballistic.  But if we look at the course of human history our groupings have been getting larger.  Tribes were the beginning, the tribes turned into nations.  The nations are turning into economic blocks.  Perhaps the next step, and I can’t think of a great name but perhaps they would be “cooperative zones” where goods AND people can travel freely?  Finally, these cooperative zones become cooperative hemispheres and then finally World Government.

So bring on the World Government!!!  We have shown that individuals and innate human nature (greed) the human race is simply unable to live together in harmony and protect the environment.  With the rise of the West and Capitalism the thought was that by economic gain and pursuit of profits this would naturally lead to less war (European Union) and, given economic incentive, the protection of nature.

This pursuit of profits has created integration between powers which ensures that any destruction would lead to much less monetary gain which in turn holds governments in check when deciding to declare war.  But now, the stakes being much higher perhaps it is much like a volcano in that war is held off so long until it finally explodes to mass destruction?  Perhaps it is this apocalypse that is the main goal of the Super Elites?  Half of humanity wiped out which releases some strain on the environment and paves the way towards even greater control and integration between nations like the after effects of World War Two?

BUT……… nahhhhhh

I subscribe to Occam’s Razor in that the simplest of two competing theories is to be preferred

1. The Housing Bubble and Lehman brothers

- People got greedy

2.  War in the Middle East

-  The USA is pursuing its geopolitical aims and the Middle East got the short end of the stick.

3.  Greece Defaults

-  Bad government

4.  The Environment (BP Oil Spill)

-  They are dealing with Oil and Gas – These are explosive, humans often error.

AND FINALLY…   Yes, terrorists hate our freedoms………………..   (o.o)/

(Just kidding on that last one for any dense folks out there)

It is simply too difficult to imagine that any one person or group could have such complete control.  CEOs of major companies have a hard enough time as it is simply controlling their empires.  The pieces move to quickly and one would think that a secret this big couldn’t be kept for long.  Unless of course the secret is already out there but most just refuse to believe it?

Aren’t conspiracy theories fun!

UPDATE 5.9.2010 –  Well I’ll be danged.  There is actually talk of the BP Oil rig being a conspiracy.  See this article from The Atlantic.  In my post, I put in quite a few un-subtle messages that I was just having fun with conspiracy theories or perhaps half my social network would think I was crazy.  But apparently, the Right Wing in America really does think that the BP Oil spill WAS A CONSPIRACY!  Apparently, ANY lie, mistruth or exaggeration is acceptable to a large portion of the American media now.  If that is the case, can we please do some articles on Aliens and abductions which is more exciting than all the “earthly” conspiracies combined!   Also, if there is an Alien Abduction application process I would happily sign up for the immense extra-terrestrial knowledge I could gain,,, so long as their are no anal probes involved of course.

Yet again another political issue is all over the media.  And as usual the debate is superficial filled with shallow “talking points,” which paint the issue as black and white and the color you choose being your political affiliation.

I find the debate swirling around the details of the law a bit too much.  For example, will “profiling” be a problem and if the papers are checked only if a crime has been committed.  I feel we need to look at the larger picture.

I have a unique perspective on all this that I would like to share but first let’s do a quick overview of the logic employed by both parties.

1. Republican

The problem is with the “illegal” immigrants.  This means they entered the country illegally and if we are not upholding our own laws then why have laws at all?  People who enter the country legally are welcome but if you do not have your visas in order then you should be deported.

- This makes complete sense but again, I prefer to look at the larger picture.

2. Democrat

The Democrats are more “humanitarian” in that these are real people and we should work with them not just knee-jerk deport them if there is an issue with the visa.

-  It is good to be humanitarian and these people are human beings just trying to make a living.  However, if we cannot enforce our own laws then why have them at all?

Let’s being with the meaning of a “law.”  A law is a random rule or proclamation written by the governing authority in order to bring order/stability etcetera to the land being governed.  These “laws” have no inherent authority on their own as they are just ideas set down on paper and then enforced by the government to get people to act/behave in a certain way.  In the past, some rulers claimed that the “law” came from God which would give it a more superior authority than just the current ruling body.  In the USA, we often say it is “the law of the land,” which implies that the land (dirt, earth) made up the law and it is as old as the dirt itself.

However, laws are neither from God nor the land but are simply rules made up by human beings.  (The law of God is a whole other subject, let’s skip that for now as the only law I can think of regarding immigration is “love thy neighbor as thy self” which would mean Arizona is about to get struck by lightning.)

In order to empower any laws there must be people to follow them and the conditions below must be true:

1. These people must live on land since we are not all swimming in the ocean.
2. The land must have been taken at some point and proclaimed “this is our land, and the law applies to this patch of earth.”
3.  It has been a long time since we took it from the animals so the land must have been taken from another group of people.

So, there is land, it was taken and proclaimed as belonging to a certain group of people that are bound under these ideas we call laws.  BUT, the “law” remains an abstraction that could be dissolved should any of the above conditions change.  Just following the law because it is the law is for men without superior faculties!

If we look at history, the Mexicans used to own a part of the land we now call America.  During this time the Americans came up with the Monroe Doctrine which basically said “Hey Europe, this is our land, leave us alone because we have a law that says you should.”  Then we had the Mexican-American War in which the Americans took land from Mexico.  So basically America was telling Europe to quit trying to take any of its lands but at the same time was taking it from Mexico.

Some schools of thought wonder why the USA didn’t go further into Mexico with one of the reasons being they didn’t want to absorb too many people of Indian decent so stopped their progress.  I don’t know if this is true or not, it is just an interesting point that I’ll return to later.

Therefore, to sum it up, America made a law regarding other powers from taking any lands but did the same thing to other nations.  Aren’t “laws” interesting!!!

Fast forward to today and the Mexican view is that “we didn’t cross the border, the border crossed us!”  So, to the Mexican mind they are simply returning to their former lands regardless of any wars being won or lost or any arbitrary laws that say they shouldn’t.  Heck, if we look at a lot of the names in the Southwestern states they are in Spanish and New Mexico is well… um, Mexico only NEW!!!

The Mexicans did lose the war but that did not mean they couldn’t come to America.  Passports were generally introduced during WW1 in Europe for security reasons (to keep out spies).  Imagine, before WW1 we could go wherever we wanted!!  So even though the land was won by the USA in war from Mexico and some laws were created people could still pretty much travel freely!  Travel freely many people did and there was mass immigration from Europe to the USA.

If we look at history, it seems various groups of people didn’t like the immigrants back then either.  English, Italian, Poles, and so on each came in droves and the racial slur “WOP” means (without pass) because these people were coming to America and were the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS of todays population!!

As time went by America prided itself on being an accepting country and even wrote on the Statue of Liberty the following:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

- Emma Lazarus, The New Colossus

Well, apparently this doesn’t apply anymore or we wouldn’t be making such a fuss over immigration.  If we look at the big picture the people getting in a huff over illegal immigration are descendants of illegal immigrants themselves.  How’s that for irony!?  In the news today it was also reported in the article Congressman would support deporting US born children of Illegal Immigrants, that he would do just that.  Well, then that begs the question, how many generations of children does that apply to because if it goes back far enough you might be deporting YOURSELF YOU DUFUS!!

Further, people born in America were simply very privileged to be simply born here and now want to keep others out.  This doesn’t seem very reasonable to me since:

a.) They were just lucky to be born here, have no inherent right to keep out others.
b.) Their country used to pride itself on welcoming immigrants.

America really used the moral high ground of welcoming immigrants and being “free” in the past, especially when fighting the cold war.  There is a scene in “The Hunt for Red October,” in which a former citizen of the Soviet Union is allowed to venture forth in his new life in the USA and this dialogue took place:

Borodin: Do you think they will let me live in Montana?
Capt. Ramius: I would think they’ll let you live wherever you want.
Borodin: Good.  Then I will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman, and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pick-up truck, or umm… possibly even…a recreational vehicle, and drive from state to state. Do they let you do that?
Capt. Ramius: Oh yes.
Borodin: No papers?
Capt. Ramius: No papers. State-to-state.

Well, apparently papers are now needed in the state of Arizona so kiss the moral high ground bye-bye.

But HOLD ON let’s switch gears here as I recently heard a very interesting point in that Mexico would most likely close their borders if we sent all the Americans on welfare down to Mexico.  I’m sure this is true but there is a better example.  The Mexicans really give the Guatemalans a hard time and did close their border!

But instead of playing tit-for-tat and who does what worse it would be better to take the high ground and not even use that example.  Instead let us get to the real issue which is SHOCKING!

There are really no debates about illegal Canadians, English, or other white people.  This is about people of a different color who speak a different language and the white majority doesn’t like it.  Personally, I like it because I speak Spanish and love Mexican culture but this isn’t about me.  I’m simply calling a spade a spade.

This issue is not about laws, profiling, illegal and so on, it is about race and us vs. them mentality.  Remember my point above about America not advancing too far into Mexico because they didn’t want to absorb the Indian people?  Well, the Indians (er Mexicans) are advancing into the USA and it seems not much has changed in peoples attitudes in the last 200 years.

BUT HOLD ON the anti-illegal-immigration advocate would say, “There are many people of different colors in the USA and we have no problems if they have their visa in order.”  This makes sense and I understand their point and they are correct.  However, thinking about this on a high level, laws can be changed if we want them to and America makes certain accommodations for certain folks.  This is just a tidal-wave of “different” people coming in and frankly I think it scares a lot of people.  Again, there is nothing wrong with this, change can be frightening.  I still think if we step back it is about race and the people being a little “too different.”  I think they are afraid of too many of them coming in.  If we go to a personal level most Americans stick to their own groups and only let others in if they are a direct reflection of themselves.  There is a great quote from “Lazarillo de Tormes” in which he says “How many people there must be in the world who run away from others when they don’t see themselves.”

Regarding them taking “American jobs,” what ever happened to the Republican mantra “Doing jobs Americans do not want to do?”  A free wheeling capitalist would welcome all this cheap labor!!  So I’m confused about the political parties,, how can the Tea-party be pro capitalism yet refuse cheap labor??

These “illegal immigrants” are just human beings that are trying to better their lot in life and to use an Australian saying “good on ya mate,” I wish them the best.

The current hub-hub bruhaha of all this is that the white population is a bit frightened and therefore use “the law” which was made by their own politicians to ease any fear of having to deal with these people.

Time goes on, things change if we really followed great religious leaders then we really would “love thy neighbor” and not try to keep them from enjoying the benefits that we Americans were born into.  You want to ease any anxiety, learn Spanish, get smarter, obtain a better job and start loving people.  I’m sure you will be much happier if you did.

As for me, I’m going to go drink a Corona and find a pretty Latina to teach this white boy how to SALSA!!!
